SalesToAccounts is running a narrow private beta for sole traders who need eBay Managed Payments payouts posted into Xero at payout level with cleaner reconciliation and a clearer paper trail.

The live fit is intentionally strict: UK eBay sole traders using eBay Managed Payments and Xero on a non-VAT, cash-basis, single-entity, GBP-only setup

This page is the beta review route. It is not instant signup or a paid checkout. Use it to check fit, request beta review, and see what onboarding looks like if you are accepted.

Current private beta fit

  • UK sole traders only
  • eBay Managed Payments only, with Xero as the destination ledger
  • Non-VAT only (VAT workflows are not supported)
  • Cash-basis, straightforward bookkeeping only, without stock, inventory, or cost-of-goods handling
  • Single-entity / single Xero organisation only
  • GBP-only (Xero base currency GBP)
  • Scheduled syncs only (not real-time)

If you don't match the above, SalesToAccounts is not suitable yet.

Do not apply yet if any of these are true

Short version: Not for VAT, accrual-led, stock, inventory, or cost-of-goods workflows; limited companies; multiple entities or Xero organisations; non-GBP setups; other marketplaces or ledgers; HMRC filing; or real-time sync expectations.

  • You are VAT registered or need VAT workflows.
  • You need accrual-led bookkeeping or broader ledger coverage.
  • You need inventory, stock, or cost-of-goods handling.
  • You have multiple entities or multiple Xero organisations in scope.
  • You need non-GBP support, non-UK support, or another ledger.

Out-of-scope setups should not apply yet. Applications are reviewed manually after submission.

  • Payout-level posting into Xero with stable payout references.
  • Manual review of fit before onboarding starts.

What the beta does not cover

  • No VAT workflows.
  • No HMRC submission or HMRC filing.
  • No accrual workflows.
  • No inventory, stock, or cost-of-goods handling.
  • No multi-entity support.
  • No real-time sync.

What happens after you request beta review

The public journey is deliberately simple: fit check first, manual fit review next, then founder-led onboarding for accepted sellers.

From beta review to first successful setup

  1. You check fit against the published narrow scope and submit for beta review.
  2. Your request goes through manual fit review before any onboarding starts.
  3. If the fit looks right, follow-up happens by email about onboarding and timing.
  4. Accepted users connect Xero, connect eBay, choose mappings, and review one payout before scheduled posting is turned on.

  • Your eBay account using Managed Payments.
  • Your Xero organisation on a GBP-base, single-entity setup.
  • A clear view of whether your bookkeeping is non-VAT and cash basis.
  • A real payout you can review during onboarding so the first posting can be checked properly.

This form is for fit review and onboarding, not instant signup. Requests are checked manually before any accepted account starts founder-led onboarding. Out-of-scope setups should not apply yet.

Accepted sellers hear back by email, complete founder-led onboarding on one real account, and use the beta free while the current programme is running.

What to expect if you are accepted

  • You should be ready to use the product on a real seller account.
  • We may ask for feedback on onboarding, payout handling, and edge cases.
  • The beta setup may change during the programme as we tighten the product.
  • Follow-up is by email after manual review.
  • Billing is not part of the current beta review flow. Accepted beta users use the product free while beta is running.
