Pricing

SalesToAccounts is priced as one narrow bookkeeping workflow, not as a broad commerce-accounting suite. The current route is still private beta with manual fit review for accepted sellers who match the published fit. During beta, accepted users use the product free while onboarding remains founder-led and screened for fit.

Planned standard pricing after beta

  • £15 monthly is the main reference price.
  • £150 annual remains available, but monthly is the simpler starting point if you are still proving fit.
  • The price is for one specific job: eBay Managed Payments payout-level sync into Xero for an eligible UK seller setup.
  • The workflow includes scheduled syncing, replay-safe posting, stable payout references, and email support.
  • The scope stays narrow: UK sole traders only, non-VAT, cash basis, single-entity, GBP-only, and straightforward bookkeeping without stock, inventory, or cost-of-goods handling.

What the price is meant to cover

  • Reducing spreadsheet cleanup and manual payout reconstruction.
  • Keeping sales, fees, refunds, and adjustments grouped at payout level for Xero.
  • Giving you a repeatable bookkeeping workflow for one narrow seller profile.

What you are not paying for

  • A broad multi-channel accounting platform.
  • VAT workflows, accrual-led bookkeeping, inventory handling, or HMRC filing.
  • Real-time sync or a general bookkeeping service.

Current commercial state

  • Private beta is free for accepted users while beta is running.
  • Applications are reviewed manually against the published supported configuration before onboarding starts.
  • Standard pricing stays public so the commercial shape is visible before beta closes.

Billing after beta

  • Pricing is published here and may change with notice.
  • Paid subscriptions are expected to be billed in advance on the monthly or annual cycle selected.
  • Auto-renews until cancelled.
  • Cancel before the next renewal date to stop further billing.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refund for partial billing periods unless agreed in writing.

Monthly-first pricing

Start with £15 monthly after beta

The product is still in private beta with manual fit review, but the standard price is public so the commercial picture is clear. The main reference point is £15 monthly for one narrow eBay Managed Payments to Xero setup.

Published standard pricing: £15 monthly or £150 annual.

  • Private beta is currently free for accepted users.
  • Monthly is the simpler starting point once beta closes.
  • Beta review requests are still checked manually before onboarding starts.
  • Accepted beta users get founder-led onboarding and email support during beta.
  • Billing is not part of the current beta review flow.

Annual is secondary

£150 annual annual

Annual billing stays available, but it should read as an option for sellers who already know the setup fits. It is not the page's default commitment option.

  • Equivalent to 10 months at the monthly rate.
  • Better suited to sellers who have already confirmed fit and want the lower effective cost.
  • No push to decide annually before you have checked scope, setup, and proof.

What the price is for

The price works only if the job is clear. SalesToAccounts is deliberately priced around one bookkeeping job for one narrow seller profile.

For: UK eBay sole traders using eBay Managed Payments and Xero on a non-VAT, cash-basis, single-entity, GBP-only setup Not for: Not for VAT, accrual-led, stock, inventory, or cost-of-goods workflows; limited companies; multiple entities or Xero organisations; non-GBP setups; other marketplaces or ledgers; HMRC filing; or real-time sync expectations.

You are paying for

Payout bookkeeping relief

SalesToAccounts turns eBay Managed Payments payouts into Xero entries at payout level so you do not have to rebuild each payout manually in spreadsheets or bank reconciliation workarounds.

Why it can stay simple

One narrow workflow

The narrow scope is deliberate: one marketplace, one ledger, one bookkeeping model, and fewer ambiguous edge cases. The product stays low-cost because it is not trying to cover every marketplace, every tax case, or every bookkeeping method.

What stays outside scope

Not a broad accounting platform

The price does not include VAT workflows, inventory, accrual-led bookkeeping, other marketplaces, other ledgers, or HMRC filing. Those limits are part of what keeps the setup practical.

Why now

Why this bookkeeping job matters more now

Making Tax Digital pressure does not mean SalesToAccounts files to HMRC. It means more sole traders need cleaner digital records feeding the accounting system they already rely on.

For eBay sellers, that pain usually shows up earlier as payout reconstruction work: rebuilding net payouts in spreadsheets, then trying to make Xero and later filing work from records that were never clean to begin with.

Where it fits

Bookkeeping input first, filing elsewhere later

  • eBay Managed Payments creates the payout data.
  • SalesToAccounts turns that into Xero entries at payout level.
  • Xero remains the main accounting record.
  • HMRC-facing filing remains outside SalesToAccounts.

See the MTD explainer if you want the records-and-workflow context rather than pricing detail.

Supported configuration (current)

  • UK sole traders only
  • eBay Managed Payments only, with Xero as the destination ledger
  • Non-VAT only (VAT workflows are not supported)
  • Cash-basis, straightforward bookkeeping only, without stock, inventory, or cost-of-goods handling
  • Single-entity / single Xero organisation only
  • GBP-only (Xero base currency GBP)
  • Scheduled syncs only (not real-time)

If you don't match the above, SalesToAccounts is not suitable yet.

Commercial clarity

What you can check before you commit

The page should leave the commercial state clear: private beta first, monthly as the default paid option later, annual optional, and the setup explained in public before any paid commitment is expected.

Support expectations

What support looks like

SalesToAccounts does not hide support behind a generic portal. Support is by email, beta review requests are checked manually, and accepted users get founder-led onboarding while the current narrow setup settles in.

  • Apply and confirm fit on the beta review page.
  • Use contact for general and support email addresses.
  • Use status for incident updates if service issues are confirmed.

Journey clarity

Apply first, pay later

The current public journey is still private beta with manual fit review first. You are applying for review, not buying a subscription on this page.

  1. Check fit on the beta review page and submit for review.
  2. Requests are checked manually before onboarding starts.
  3. Accepted sellers complete founder-led onboarding on one real account.
  4. Standard monthly or annual billing becomes relevant only after beta closes.

Billing timing

What “billing starts” means publicly

During the current private beta, accepted users use the product free while beta is running. The public pricing on this page is the standard commercial picture after beta, not a charge applied at application time.
